He believes in catering lessons to each student’s goals, drawing on their musical influences to create engaging and personalized lesson plans, whether they aim to perform professionally or simply play as a hobby.

Kyle’s inclusive teaching style fosters a welcoming and encouraging environment where students feel motivated to explore new techniques, experiment with different genres, and develop their own unique sound. He is committed to making music learning accessible, enjoyable, and rewarding.

Kyle’s students have gone on to release original music, perform professionally, and teach others.

As a professional musician, Kyle has performed across diverse genres at a wide range of events, from intimate venues and private gatherings to festivals, tours, and major concert stages, including supporting top artists and appearing on TV, radio, and live streams. He has contributed to countless studio projects, led numerous group classes and masterclasses, and shared his knowledge at schools and events.

Kyle’s experience in writing, recording, and performing spans genres such as jazz, rock, blues, classical, country, experimental, folk, funk, metal, pop, punk, R&B, and reggae. He is fully equipped to teach any genre a student wishes to explore.

Kyle’s expertise in live performance and studio work provides valuable insight to help students grow as musicians and performers. His extensive experience allows him to teach students not only technical skill but also the confidence to perform in various settings.

Kyle is uniquely skilled at tapping techniques and plays tapping instruments, including the Chapman Stick and Warr Guitar.
